Book follows Boulder woman’s unexpected health battle overseas alone

Molly Kate Brown lay in the hospital bed in a foreign country, tethered by IV tubes. Her knees were too swollen and painful to walk, but she knew she would again some day. 

And she knew this story would be a book.

Today, the story of how she battled an unexpected health crisis while traveling through India alone is the subject of one of the Boulder Book Store’s top-selling novels. In fact, her book signing at the Pearl Street store last month was standing room only and shot her book up to the shop’s No. 2 spot, she says.
